It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fremd had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Prospect Knights 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won nine in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Fremd who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 21-25, 25-15.

Fremd's win bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Prospect, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season.
