Soccer Recap: Oak Mountain Comes Up Short

Oak Mountain's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Spain Park Jaguars by a score of 3-2. Oak Mountain were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Spain Park earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Oak Mountain has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-3-2 record this season. As for Spain Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-1 record this season.

Oak Mountain will head out on the road to square off against Vestavia Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Vestavia Hills will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Oak Mountain surely won't give up without a fight. As for Spain Park, they will face off against Hoover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
