Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Takes a Loss

Cheyenne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Shadow Ridge Mustangs. If the Desert Shields were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in October of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-7, 25-10.

Cheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Shadow Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Cheyenne will take on Canyon Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Shadow Ridge and Bishop Gorman will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gaels will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
