Football Recap: Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton Falls to Rockville in First Game of Season

Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Rockville Rams and fell 48-6. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Will Davis Jr. was a one-man wrecking crew For Rockville. as he picked up 155 receiving yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 61 yards and one score on only seven carries. Davis Jr. was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 65 yards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton will head out to face off against Granby Memorial/Canton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rockville, they will venture away from home to challenge Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
