Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Window Rock). They blew past the Ganado Hornets 74-54 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Fighting Scouts with their most commanding win of the season.

Jaylen Brown was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 12 on his way to 21 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Makye Gilbert, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Window Rock smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Ganado lost, don't look at Kyren Todechine. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. Antwan Ignatin also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Window Rock's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-15. As for Ganado, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Window Rock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-60 loss against Tuba City on the 30th. As for Ganado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-38 defeat against Chinle on the 31st.
