Basketball Recap: Monticello Comes Up Short

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 55-19 loss at the hands of the Valley Buffalos. The Buckaroo were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-11.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monticello will square off against Dolores at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley, they will face off against Escalante at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
