Hayden wins going away against Intermountain Christian

Even though the Hayden Tigers have not done well against the Intermountain Christian Lions recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Hayden strolled past Intermountain Christian with points to spare, taking the game 57-39. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hayden.

Hayden had a senior duo take command as Grady Frentress scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals and Cale Howard scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Adrian Drew was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 8 rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Intermountain Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Noah Hillaker. Despite the final result, he scored 8 points along with 24 rebounds and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Keaton Okino, who scored 6 points.

Hayden's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Intermountain Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Manila the next time they take the court. Intermountain Christian will host Manila at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Hayden will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
