Softball Recap: River Falls Takes a Loss

River Falls lost against Rice Lake on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Warriors, falling 15-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

MORGAN KIVEL was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. AVA LARSEN was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

River Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Rice Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Falls will head out to square off against St. Croix Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rice Lake, they will venture away from home to take on Eau Claire North at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
