Basketball Recap: Centaurus Piles Up the Points Against Niwot

After only 23 points in their last matchup, Centaurus made sure to put some points up on the board against Niwot on Tuesday. The Centaurus Warriors breezed by the Niwot Cougars to the tune of 55-22. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Centaurus' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jt Falzone led the charge by putting up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jack Lyle, who went 5 for 8 en route to 10 points and seven rebounds.

Centaurus was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Niwot only posted two assists.

Centaurus' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-8. As for Niwot, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Centaurus has already played their next game, a 54-40 defeat against Fairview on the 24th. As for Niwot, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 68-53 loss against Mead on the 24th.
