Basketball Recap: St. John's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

St. John had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northside Christian Warriors on Monday, sneaking past 52-50. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. John's victory bumped their record up to 9-20. As for Northside Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-22.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John will take on Thrive Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northside Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Grand Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
