Volleyball Recap: Alak Comes Up Short

Alak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nunamiut Amaguq. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Alak was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring ten points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10.

Alak's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Nunamiut, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coincidentally, Alak and Nunamiut will both be playing Tikigaq the next time they take the court. The Huskies will host the Harpooners on Saturday, while the Amaguq will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
