Soccer Game Preview: Osbourn vs. Freedom

Osbourn will take on Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osbourn's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Osbourn's offense. They came up short against Battlefield on Monday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Osbourn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Battlefield are ranked 61st).

Meanwhile, Freedom didn't have quite enough to beat Battlefield on Friday and fell 2-1. The loss was Freedom's first of the season.

Osbourn's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Freedom, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1-2.
