Volleyball Recap: Christel House Wins Going Away Against Indianapolis Washington

Christel House won the last time they faced Indianapolis Washington and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Continentals.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-20.

Jason De La Cruz had a dynamite game, getting eight aces and three digs. Those eight aces gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kevin Cruz Vera, who had six kills, four aces, and three digs.

They weren't the only good server: Christel House was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Christel House now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Indianapolis Washington, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Christel House will be playing at home against Indianapolis Shortridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Indianapolis Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
