Baseball Recap: Hazen Comes Up Short

Hazen lost to Stuttgart back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hornets came up short against the Ricebirds, falling 16-1.

Hazen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Anderson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Hazen's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Stuttgart, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazen will welcome Clarendon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stuttgart, they will look to defend their home field on the 28th against Wynne at 5:00 p.m.
