Softball Recap: Ansonia Tigers vs. Bradford Railroaders
Ansonia owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bradford Railroaders by a score of 4-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Railroaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
The result came thanks to Bre Walker's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ansonia let Lillian Perry and Shyann McKenna run wild. Perry went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI, while McKenna went 1-for-3 with one home run.
