Basketball Recap: La Farge Takes a Loss

La Farge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the North Crawford Trojans and fell 79-47. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 406th, while the Trojans are ranked 102nd).

La Farge's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for North Crawford, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Looking ahead, La Farge will face off against Seneca at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully La Farge likes a good challenge. As for North Crawford, they will challenge De Soto at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
