Baseball Game Preview: Aloha Warriors vs. Beaverton Beavers

Aloha and Beaverton are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long. The Warriors will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Beavers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Aloha is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Southridge with a sharp 9-2 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hayden Grot and David Hoskins did most of the damage at the plate: Grot went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Hoskins went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Aloha is 3-1 when Grot posts two or more runs, but 1-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Bodie McNeil, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Aloha was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2025.

Meanwhile, Beaverton beat Mountainside 7-4 on Friday.

Beaverton's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Aloha, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.
