Baseball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Stuttgart on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 9-5 to the Stuttgart Ricebirds. The Lumberjacks haven't had much luck with the Ricebirds recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bryson Harris was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Antonio Jordan, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Stuttgart, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Warren will face off against Watson Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stuttgart, they will challenge Mayflower at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stuttgart is facing Mayflower at the right time seeing as Mayflower is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
