Volleyball Recap: Waunakee Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Waunakee waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Naperville North Huskies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Julia Grogan paced Waunakee's offense, picking up eight kills. Grogan got some help from Amy Denkert and her 15 assists. Grogan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Waunakee's victory bumped their record up to 35-7. As for Naperville North, their loss dropped their record down to 20-10.

Waunakee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Plainfield Central on the 18th. As for Naperville North, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against York on the 18th.
