Basketball Recap: Sale Creek Comes Up Short

Sale Creek lost against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sale Creek Panthers took a 77-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts found their leader in freshman Landon Caldwell, who posted 31 points. Tyler Heisig was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Sale Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sale Creek will venture away from home to challenge Chattanooga Prep at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they will head out to square off against Whitwell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts is facing Whitwell at the right time seeing as Whitwell is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
