Soccer Recap: San Pedro Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, San Pedro was not quite Banning's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Banning Pilots by a score of 2-1. The Pirates were probably out for revenge after losing 4-2 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Their goal came courtesy of Adrian Urzua, who's now up to three this season.

San Pedro has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Banning, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3-2.

San Pedro will be playing in front of their home fans against Narbonne at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Banning, they will head out to challenge Rancho Dominguez at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
