Basketball Recap: Metropolitan Skates Past Beach Channel with Ease

Metropolitan won the last time they faced Beach Channel and things went their way on Tuesday too. Metropolitan simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Beach Channel Dolphins 67-23. Metropolitan has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 44 points or more this season.

Metropolitan's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Beach Channel, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Metropolitan and Beach Channel should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Metropolitan will challenge Springfield Gardens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday up 365 places (55 vs. 420). Meanwhile, Beach Channel (ranked 239th) will meet Richmond Hill (ranked 567th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
