Football Recap: Delhi Comes Up Short

Delhi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 38-6 defeat at the hands of the Waterford Wildcats. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Delhi's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Waterford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Delhi has already played their next contest, a 41-0 defeat against Denair on the 24th. As for Waterford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 19-14 loss against Mariposa County on the 24th.
