Softball Recap: Upsala Comes Up Short

Upsala came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-2 to the Maple Lake Irish. The match marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Upsala dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Maple Lake, they moved to 3-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Upsala will venture away from home to square off against Browerville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maple Lake, they will host Eden Valley-Watkins at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
