Soccer Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

Triton lost against Southern Lee back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hawks came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for Triton seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Triton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12-1 record this season. As for Southern Lee, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triton will take on Western Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Western Alamance will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Triton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southern Lee, they will square off against Swansboro at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
