Football Game Preview: Tatum Eagles vs. Atlanta Rabbits + How To Watch

The Tatum Eagles will square off against the Atlanta Rabbits at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tatum has given up an average of 30.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tatum is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Gladewater on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles had to suffer through a 33-6 loss at the hands of the Bears. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Atlanta waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They took down the Leopards 33-19. Given the Rabbits' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Leopards are ranked 464th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tatum better keep an eye on Jayden Riley. He was instrumental in Atlanta's win, rushing for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Atlanta's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Tatum, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Tatum was taken down by Atlanta 42-7 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Eagles were down 35-7.
