Hickory and East Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hickory had to settle for second. They fell 4-2 to the Mustangs. Hickory's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Hickory's loss dropped their record down to 18-4-3. As for East Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4-1 record this season.

Hickory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Enka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
