Softball Recap: Sheldon Huskies vs. Ponderosa Bruins
Sheldon dropped to 16-9 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Ponderosa Bruins by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Huskies have suffered since March 12th.

Micah Kennedy was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Sinitalela Heleta was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
As for Ponderosa, the win keeps them at an undefeated 25-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.9 runs this season.
