Basketball Recap: Pinecrest Prep Takes a Loss

Pinecrest Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the North Miami Beach Chargers and fell 62-34. The match marked the Crocs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jephte Noel had a dynamite game for North Miami Beach, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 33 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Noel a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Edgar Inoamercedes, who posted four points in addition to ten assists and six boards.

Pinecrest Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for North Miami Beach, their record is now 4-7.

Pinecrest Prep won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Goleman at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Miami Beach, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against South Broward at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
