Soccer Recap: New Caney Comes Up Short

New Caney managed to keep up with The Woodlands until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The New Caney Eagles lost 5-0 to The Woodlands Highlanders. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Highlanders: they've now lost six in a row.

New Caney's loss dropped their record down to 4-13-3. As for The Woodlands, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 17-1-1.

Coming up, New Caney will take on Cleveland at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Woodlands, they will square off against Conroe at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
