West was forced to take a big loss against Clifton on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Friday. The Trojans walked away with a 4-1 win over the Cubs. The victory was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

West's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for Clifton, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West will venture away from home to square off against Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so West's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Clifton, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
