Volleyball Recap: Lake Mills' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Lake Mills unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Beaver Dam Golden Beavers by a score of 2-1.

Brooke Palmer paced Lake Mills' offense, picking up six kills. Palmer got some help from Debra Bruce and her 18 assists.

Lake Mills' loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Beaver Dam, their victory bumped their record up to 17-20.

Coincidentally, Lake Mills and Beaver Dam will both be playing Randolph the next time they take the court. The L-Cats will head out to face the Rockets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Beavers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
