Fredericktown waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Oak Ridge Blue Jays with a sharp 9-1 win. Considering the Black Cats have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Fredericktown's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Easton Wood, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. David Slinkard was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Fredericktown's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Oak Ridge, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Fredericktown will be taking part in a tournament against Sullivan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Ridge, they will head out to take on Oran at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
