Passaic County Tech had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Eastside on Monday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Ghosts. Considering the Bulldogs have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Passaic County Tech's fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Eastside, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Passaic County Tech will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Ghosts: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
