Volleyball Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

If Bryan was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Shoemaker last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell just short of the Temple Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Bryan took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-11, 23-25, 25-9, 15-11.

Bryan moved to 13-24 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Temple, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-23 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bryan and Temple will both be playing Copperas Cove the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Bulldawgs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
