Softball Recap: Immanuel Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Immanuel Christian can now relate to. They lost 10-4 to the California City Ravens on Friday. The Crusaders have struggled against the Ravens recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Immanuel Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erin French, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for California City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

Immanuel Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for California City, they are taking a road trip to take on Orcutt Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
