Recap: Northport vs. Tekoa-Rosalia
After having lost a blowout to Entiat in their previous matchup, Tekoa-Rosalia were happy to find some success on Friday. Tekoa-Rosalia put a hurting on Northport to the tune of 70-6. Tekoa-Rosalia have a history of success against Northport, winning their last head-to-head 70-6.
Tekoa-Rosalia's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 50 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Northport couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 50-0 heading into the break. The Tekoa-Rosalia defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the game. The win got them back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped Northport's record to 0-2.
Next week Tekoa-Rosalia take on Republic at Chewelah TR Home Team at 7:00 PM. As for Northport, they will face off against Mary Walker.
