Volleyball Recap: Walkertown Starts off Right with Win over Glenn

Walkertown gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Glenn Bobcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Wolfpack haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

While Walkertown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-20.

Chloe Isaacs was nothing short of spectacular: she had 30 assists and three aces. Those 30 assists gave her a new career-high.

Glenn is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walkertown will host High Point Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
