It was a Battle of the Birds when FAU High challenged Seminole Ridge on Tuesday. The FAU High Owls took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminole Ridge Hawks. The Owls' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Seminole Ridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alejandro Alava, who went 5 of 12 en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jonah Pio, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.

FAU High's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Seminole Ridge, their record now sits at 4-17.
