Baseball Recap: Moody Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Clair County last Tuesday, Moody came back down to earth. The Moody Blue Devils fell just short of the St. Clair County Fighting Saints by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Saints earlier this season, when they won 16-2.

Moody has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. St. Clair County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

While Moody had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
