Basketball Recap: Lake City Takes a Loss

Lake City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the McBain Ramblers and fell 71-18. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 577th, while the Ramblers are ranked 73rd).

Lake City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for McBain, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Lake City has already played their next match, a 47-34 loss against Mancelona on the 11th. As for McBain, they will head out to challenge Roscommon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
