Gadsden County and Marianna are an even 4-4-2 against one another since November of 2016, but likely not for long. The Jaguars will challenge the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gadsden County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Gadsden County fell victim to Port St. Joe and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tiger Sharks by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Marianna also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 6-0 to Wakulla on Monday. Marianna have struggled against Wakulla recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marianna fell to 6-1-1. As for Gadsden County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1.

Gadsden County beat Marianna by a goal when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
