Volleyball Recap: Alamo Navajo Triumphs

Alamo Navajo proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Varsity Opponent 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since November 1, 2024.

Alamo Navajo was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-9, 19-25, 25-17, 15-7.

Alamo Navajo is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Alamo Navajo will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Magdalena at 6:00 p.m. on October 7. As for Varsity Opponent, they will square off against Cookson Hills Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
