After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bluffton, Blackford was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Marion Giants 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Bruins as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Blackford took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-11.

Blackford picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blackford will venture away from home to face off against Alexandria-Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion, they will head out to challenge Huntington North at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
