Softball Recap: Van Buren Comes Up Short

Van Buren lost against Mohawk back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Black Knights lost 14-1 to the Warriors.

Van Buren's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Mohawk, their record is now 13-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Van Buren will square off against Liberty-Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Black Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mohawk, they will challenge Lincolnview at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lancers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
