Volleyball Recap: Wren Wins Going Away Against Palmetto

Wren won the last time they faced Palmetto and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hurricanes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wren took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8, 25-11.

Aubrey Bryan paced Wren's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bryan got some help from Emma Kate Garrison and her 20 assists. Garrison was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 14 aces.

Wren's victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Wren will be taking part in a tournament against Cardinal Newman at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Palmetto, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
