Bryce Cockayne posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has become a key player for Dover: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-8 otherwise.
