Lawrence County had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Priceville Bulldogs with a sharp 13-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-2 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Ryder Mcgregory, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Jake Weathersby was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Lawrence County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matches.

Lawrence County pushed their record up to 21-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Priceville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-18.
