Volleyball Recap: Sandusky Takes a Loss

Sandusky was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the McComb Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Streaks of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

McComb can attribute much of their success to Lily Sebring, who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Sebring a new career-high.

Sandusky's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for McComb, their record is now 4-2.

Looking ahead, Sandusky will venture away from home to square off against Danbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McComb, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Arcadia on the 6th.
