Clinton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Union County Patriots by a score of 52-41. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaden Ison went supernova for Clinton, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Bryson Maddox was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Clinton pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Union County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Clinton and Warren County will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Warren County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Union County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grainger at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
